Cadillac was founded in in 1902. It has a rich & long history producing ICE vehicles. It wasn't until recently, that it decided to try out an electric vehicle. The Cadillac Lyriq will be its first EV, and will debut August 6, 2020. It is expected to come to market in 2022.

What Sort Of Range Can You Get With Cadillac EVs?

There is conjecture how much range the Lyriq will have. Estimates range from 200-350 miles currently. General Motors is anticipated to release a new technology with the Lyriq, named Ultium. The scalable technology will allow the automaker to produce batteries that can range in size from 50 kWh to 200 kWh.

How Much Do Cadillac Electric Cars Cost?

The new Cadillac Lyriq is expected to have a price tag of $75,000-$90,000 (fully loaded). We will find out forsure on August 6, 2020.

What Electric Vehicles is Cadillac planning for the future?
