Bollinger Motors began in 2015 when Robert Bollinger wasn't satisfied with the truck options available on the electric vehicle market. Their mission is to build trucks locally, and make a positive impact globally. By focusing in on the truck segment specifically they have an edge on the competition when it comes to electric car platforms - they're building their own. They're also selling their vehicles, the B1 and B2, which are both available for pre-order already.
Bollinger is currently planning on releasing their B1 & B2 Models in 2021/2022. Both are available for pre-order here.
As of June 2020, Bollinger Motors does not have any vehicles that have been sold on the road. However, you can place a pre-order on their B1 or B2 models. Production is slated to begin late this year (2020), with customer deliveries beginning in 2021.
Both the Bollinger B1 & B2 Vehicles are slated to have a range of 200 miles.
$1000 reservations are currently available, but at full price, a Bollinger B1 or B2 will cost $125,000.
We all know about Tesla, but some other companies looking to produce BEV pick up trucks on a large scale include Rivian Automotive, Nikola Motors, and Atlis Motor Vehicles. Ford, Chevy and other more traditional brands will be competing in this segment as well introducing electric versions of their pickup lineups.
